What does the Audi TT RS sports coupe have in common with other sports cars? Well, they all have four wheels. The comparison gets sticky after that with Audi’s new high-performance coupe, which will be coming to America soon.

Although European drivers get a choice of coupe or roadster, only the coupe will appear on our shores for the time being. But what a coupe it is, with a 2.5-liter TFSI five-cylinder engine that can run zero to 60- mph in only 4.6 seconds.  The six-speed manual transmission features Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system. Your Westport used Audi dealer has no doubt this car will be wildly popular.

Right now, the biggest power burst U.S. drivers can get is from the Audi TTS Coupe with 265 horsepower. With a price tag of ,350 it’s not outrageous, but true car aficionados will want to hold out for the TT RS coupe. It’s price range hasn’t been announced yet, but Audi anticipates it will arrive in the third quarter of next year.

Also no word on systems and options for the TT RS in America. Audi can be counted on, though, to make them adequate, if not numerous, and exciting. It may be exciting just trying to get one. Companies have shed 11,000 workers from their payroll. State agencies have had to layoff or furlough workers. Millions of Americans are now waiting longer for food stamps, unemployment checks, and disability payments. Margaret Simms of the Urban Institute notes, “The length of the recession clearly has put a strain on the resources that states bring to bear.” Therefore, our lives continue to unravel as things we depend on disintegrate before our eyes.

Career Strategy
An economic crisis and an uncertain future require individuals to explore new personal strategies. For many people, happiness means more than having a job. According to a Yankelovich Monitor’s study in 1997, only 25% of adults said “a lot of money” signified success and accomplishment. Unfortunately, many individuals work in organizations that don’t stimulate their professional growth.

In my own situation, I’ve kept my primary job but created my own business venture. This decision started my professional development and gave me a competitive edge in the market.
It doesn’t necessarily mean giving up your current job. However, it does involve a different mental journey. Therefore, you may need to change directions. These steps include the following: (a) take a personal assessment of your current work situation; (b) determine your primary focus; (c) prepare a plan for professional development at your job; (d) decide what you need to do in order to obtain your dream job; (e) weigh the consequences of changing directions; and (f) surround yourself with a positive support system.

Conclusion

Many individuals are rethinking their career situations during this economic crisis. Blacks are not the exception. I see a sense of despair encompassing them. Yet, most people don’t know how to get out of this vicious cycle of hopelessness. Individuals should continue to sharpen their skills and never let anyone else decide their future. It appears that few managers are concerned about employee career development.

Therefore, I caution you not to get too comfortable in your jobs while the rest of the nation is going through unprecedented change. This article demonstrated that you can mobilize yourself and take control of your own situation. In fact, it’s a critical step in achieving personal fulfillment and acquiring future wealth. Through this process, you will gain the insight to develop and enhance your skills while pursuing your personal goals and dreams.

History of Rugby:

A field-game resembling rugby football was a game played by ancient Greeks called specatoras (Greek: ?????????).[1][2][3] In Wales such a sport is called cnapan or “criapan”, and has medieval roots. The old Irish predecessor of rugby may be caid. The Cornish called it “hurling to goals” which dates back to the bronze age, the West country called it “hurling over country” (neither should to be confused with Gaelic hurling in which the ball is hit with a stick called a hurley or hurl, not carried), East Anglians “Campball”, the French “La Soule” or “Chole” (a rough-and-tumble cross-country game). English villages were certainly playing games of ‘fute ball’ during the 1100s. English boarding schools would certainly have developed their own variants of this game as soon as they were established—the Eton Wall Game being one example.

The “invention” of rugby was therefore not the act of playing early forms of the game at Rugby School or elsewhere but rather the events which led up to its codification.

The game of football which was played at Rugby School between 1750 and 1859 permitted handling of the ball, but no-one was allowed to run with it in their hands towards the opposition’s goal. There was no fixed limit to the number of players per side and sometimes there were hundreds taking part in a kind of enormous rolling maul. This sport caused major injury at times. The innovation of running with the ball was introduced some time between 1859 and 1865. William Webb Ellis has been credited with breaking the local rules by running forwards with the ball in a game in 1823. Shortly after this the Victorian mind turned to establishing written rules for the sports which had earlier just involved local agreements, and boys from Rugby School produced the first written rules for their version of the sport in 1870. Rugby would also be considered a dangerous game but fun.

Around this time the influence of Dr Thomas Arnold, Rugby’s headmaster, was beginning to be felt around all the other boarding schools, and his emphasis on sport as part of a balanced education naturally encouraged the general adoption of the Rugby rules across the country, and, ultimately, the world.

The oldest tennis tournament in the world just about lost some grand slam firepower on Day 1. Six-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer provided some early drama when he was forced to fight back from two sets down to dispatch Colombian Alejandro Falla. Roger Federer has a history of successes at Wimbledon, doing on the grass courts of the All England Club what Nadal does on the clay courts of Roland Garros.

Federer has six Wimbledon men’s singles titles to his name, the most recent coming last year when he defeated Andy Roddick.

Although currently ranked No. 2 by the ATP, sportsbooks have Federer as the odds-on favorite to win this year’s Wimbledon at +105 (he’s +150 to be the runner up).

– Andy Roddick’s last grand slam win came back in 2003 when he took the U.S. Open; could it be time he won another?

Roddick was runner up at last year’s Wimbledon and he has been fairly successful in 2010 so far.

The tennis A-Rod started the season off with a title from the Brisbane International, won a title at the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 Sony Ericsson Open and was runner up at the ATP SAP Open and the ATP BNP Paribas Open.

He’s listed at +800 to do what he could not last year.

– Andy Murray should have the support of the home crowd as he considers himself both Scottish and British.

Murray has reached two grand slam finals in his career, the 2008 U.S. Open and this year’s Aussie Open, and both times has fallen to Roger Federer.

At least year’s Wimbledon tournament, Murray lost to Andy Roddick in the semifinals and would very much like to make it a little farther this year.

Murray is also a betting favorite, at +400 to take the 2010 men single’s title.
