Again 2003, Australia won the world cup finals, this time by beating India in the finals by a whooping margin of 125 runs. For the first time in world cup history a team had won the world cup thrice.

The next world cup is scheduled to be held in West Indies in the year 2007. As usual, cricket pundits and critics have started predicting who will win and who will not.
